BEC Planning to Build an Expanded Sustainable Parking Lot

Business Expo Center Seeks to Acquire Land for Anaheim’s Only Green Parking Lot

There is an exciting opportunity for the BEC team! We’re working hard to acquire a piece of land adjacent to our building, and our intention is to create a green parking lot that will enable us to protect the environment. If successful, this project will provide us with nearly 400 additional parking spaces. This expansion will allow the BEC to host bigger events, which will in turn help to stimulate the thousands of businesses in Orange County.

As excited as we are about the prospect of expanding our facilities, we are even more thrilled by the potential that this parking lot will have for contributing to the environment. Our goal is to create a sustainable lot that will use natural energy resources such as solar power, rather than consuming energy that cannot be replaced. We know that preserving the environment is crucial, so we are doing what we can to contribute to the effort.

The Business Expo Center also recognizes the importance of giving back to the community, and this parking lot will do just that. Our vision is to build a lot that is lined with orange trees, heavily landscaped, and representative of the beauty of Anaheim. We want to create something that will make a statement to the millions of passengers that pass by our facility while traveling on the 5 freeway every month.

There is much work to be done, but we’re eager to accomplish our goal!
