Business Expo Center Proposes Green Energy-Producing Parking Lot Across From Its Facility

3-acre parking lot to produce solar energy and make available additional event parking and long lasting benefits for the community and sponsors
The Business Expo Center is working with the City of Anaheim and local business leaders to create a green energy-producing parking lot that will enable us to protect the environment and add beautification to the area. This expansion will help our center stimulate additional business in Orange County and provide long-lasting benefits to our community and our sponsors.
As excited as we are about the prospect of expanding our facilities, we are even more thrilled by the potential that this parking lot will have in contributing to the environment. Our goal is to create a sustainable parking lot that will use natural energy resources such as solar power and sustainable materials, rather than consuming energy that cannot be replaced. We know that preserving the environment is crucial.
Our vision is to build a parking lot that is lined heavily with orange trees and representative of the beauty of Anaheim. We want to create something that will make a positive statement to the 90 million passengers that pass by our Anaheim facility while traveling on the 5 freeway every month!
There is still work to be done, but we are eager to accomplish our goal with your support!
