7 Foods for Your Super Bowl Party Menu

Super Bowl Sunday is only a few days away and if you’re having a Super Bowl party this February 4th, your guests will be expecting some good eats! Our party planning experts are sharing some tips to help you create the perfect menu for everyone, including options to accommodate those with special diets. You can keep it classic with buffalo hot wings, or throw a Hail-Mary and try something different with these 6 fun dishes:

Snacks for Your Super Bowl Celebration

1. Tortilla Chips and Salsa –This dish is always a go to, but it doesn’t have to be original. Try mixing it up with some red and green, spicy and mild, or perhaps some blue corn chips if you’re rooting for the Patriots! Try using multigrain chips or spinach tortilla chips to create a different taste.

2. Spinach Artichoke Dip - In addition to salsa, give your guests more dip options and put a twist on the tortilla chips. This creamy dip with sour cream, mayo and red pepper flakes is sure to spice things up – and don’t forget to serve it hot!

3. Soft Pretzels - Warm, soft, buttery pretzels are a perfect tasty option! Salt, whole grain mustard, cheddar cheese and sesame seeds are just some of the toppings you can use kickoff the party. Gourmet dipping sauces (other than mustard) like a tomato based dip would create a unique burst of flavor!

4. Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches – If you’re rooting for the Eagles these are a must have! Three simple ingredients make these an easy and affordable option: Cheese, Peppers, and Steak. Plus, sandwiches are always a great go-to and you can easily serve them in pieces with toothpicks!

5. Jalapeño Poppers - Throw a perfect pass to your tummy (or a friend’s) with some cheesy goodness. Include some cream cheese and bacon and finish it off with a thick layer of bread crumbs to get a crispy texture!

6.  Irish Nachos – Potato skins on the table, pig-skin on the television, need I say more? Classic nachos are always a hit, but try a more filling option with potatoes instead of chips… not to mention - the bacon!  Add some rosemary or thyme leaves to add even more flavor and score that extra point with some cool ranch served on the side.

7. Themed Drinks- We can’t forget about drinks! The usual beer and soda options are sure to be a hit but try adding some team spirit by including color themed cocktails like martinis or punch! Guests will love the team spirit and enthusiasm with themed beverages!

It’s likely that your guests will be huddled around the television, reluctant to head to the kitchen. Finger foods on the living room table are a great way to give everyone access to the grub, without missing any Super Bowl action. No matter which team you are rooting for this Sunday, fans love food! Keep your guests satisfied with classic party food, and keep them guessing by adding some unexpected elements to your spread. Don’t forget to get creative with some drink options on top of the tasty food spread!
