We’ll be joined by incredible changemakers from across the country, including thelegendary Congressman Steny Hoyer, who will be recognized for his decades of public service and deep impact on our democracy.
The Powerful IDEA (Impact on Democracy, Elections, Advocacy) Awards were established by GAIN Power to recognize excellence in progressive politics. GAIN Power created these awards because, while many industries have recognition programs—from the Oscars to the Emmys, Grammys, Webby, and Clio Awards—the progressive political ecosystem lacked a comprehensive program that celebrated its unique contributions.
