Interested individuals can join GenPhilly by completing the questionnaire available on the GenPhilly webpage. Once accepted, members will receive information about participation and upcoming events.
By participating in the GenPhilly Mentorship Program, both mentors and mentees contribute to advancing the mission of fostering meaningful connections, raising awareness about aging issues, and celebrating positive aging in Philadelphia.

Either at the event or at your first mentoring meeting, you must define the year-long commitment with your mentor/mentee. You will also outline expectations together using our form.
Commitment:
The GenPhilly Mentorship Program requires a one-year time commitment as detailed in the timeline above. During this time, Mentors and Mentees are asked to commit a minimum of one (1) hour each month to the program. Mentors and mentees are asked to attend at least one (1) in-person event together; these can be either GenPhilly-led Events or other career advancement opportunities that the pair feel are essential to the Mentee’s professional development goals.
