In June 2009, Laurie Ann Meyer launched the Ladies Luncheon in Ventura with a simple yet powerful vision: to create a welcoming space where women could step away from their busy lives, enjoy a nourishing meal, and build genuine connections rooted in community and support.
What began as a monthly networking lunch has evolved into a heartfelt gathering of women who come not only for business but for belonging. With no membership required and no limits on industry representation, the luncheon offers an open door to all women seeking collaboration, encouragement, and connection.
Over the years, the spirit of the Luncheon has deepened. While many first attend for business growth, they soon discover something even more meaningful. As one regular puts it: “I came today to just rest, relax, be seen, heard, and loved on.”
Laurie, a successful local Broker Associate and owner of team Lifestyle Listings Realty ONE Group Summit, brings her passion for people into everything she does. Though real estate and community events may seem worlds apart, they are deeply connected through her mission: to inspire, uplift, and walk alongside others as they pursue their dreams—always guided by faith and heart.
