By knowing this prior, you will have a better understanding of how your attendees will fill the space and if you need more or less room. Additionally, this will ensure efficiency when planning for various stations, check-ins, and decor.
After booking, the setup will impact the available spacing in each room. Therefore when planning, keep in mind the amount of expected attendance. When planning an Expo, for instance, it’ll be important to spread attendees across stations to avoid overcrowdedness and ensure enough spacing for networking. For parties such as weddings and quinceañera knowing the exact spacing available will be valuable when positioning dance floors, cocktails, bar area, tables, and more activities.
At Business Expo Center we are proud to offer 36,000 square ft. of event space that includes small to large halls, meeting rooms, and reception areas. We also work with experienced decorator and party rental vendors that we can provide additionally with the given space.
2. Do you offer free parking?
When booking you will receive a full parking guide with directions. At Business Expo Center there are two connecting parking lots, available street parking, and offsite parking only a couple minutes away from Business Expo Center.
This is also an important aspect of event planning because attendees should know where to park and attendance will be higher when there’s free parking.
3. Do you provide internet access?
Yes we do.
Whether you are coordinating a meeting or an Expo; technology can lift your event to the next level. This is especially important for events that require presentations, music, and signage. Not only is this important for capturing memories, but for attendees to connect, share, and coordinate with everyone.
4. Do you have all the equipment you need for your event or will you need the venue to supply it?
Event planning is A LOT of work, we know we get it. There are always so many moving parts. To ensure easy coordination always, ALWAYS ask what additional services and preferred vendors venues offer.

5. Do you provide AV equipment?
Additionally, having available AV makes a difference in cost and convenience. Services provided by the venue will be charged a discounted or budget friendly rate.
6. Do you have recommendations on caterers in the area?
Yes! Food is everything especially when it comes to your event. Finding the right caterer can be difficult and costly so it’s valuable to ask about preferred catering options.

7. What is your policy on alcohol served at an event?
At BEC there is no self serve. It must be served by a bartender and all alcohol will be kept at the bar. BYOB. Cash/open bar or hosted bar/tickets.
8. Are party materials included in the total fee or is there an additional charge? (i.e. tables, chairs, piping, etc.)
As mentioned, always ask Venues what services they provide to ensure cost and convenience.
At Business Expo Center tables and chairs are included and the decorations will be extra.
9. How much time is allotted for setup and clean-up? Does it cost extra?
Plan ahead and design a schedule that includes step up, clean-up, and break down time. It’s always better to be over prepared than rush last minute especially in the chaos of planning an event.
Usually, you will have 1 to 3 hours of setup time and 1 hour after for break down are included in fee, depending on your event need.
10. What kind of marketing do you provide for public events?
We offer marketing specific packages that include flyers, banners, step and repeat as well as digital marketing including presence on social media, website for a duration of time.

We supervise our staffs to maintain the hall, not your attendees or your event. If such service is needed, we can provide extra help for extra fee.
14. Do you take photos at events?
Capture your moment by hiring a professional photographer and videographer and some venues offer these services including Business Expo Center.
15. Does your venue have an A/C and/or heating unit?
Weather is unpredictable and having an efficient system to maintain temperature will keep your guests staying longer.
